Coming up this week – August 4 thru August 10

There are a lot of things happening this week. New classes for Fredericksburg Parks & Rec. start, a Meetup in DC and a free seminar at the Workhouse Arts Center.

Monday evening a Photoshop Layers class begins. This three week class looks at the power of using layers in your image editing.
Intro to Point & Shoot Photography begins on Wednesday evening. This six week class covers understanding your Point & Shoot camera, its setting as well and composition.*
Thursday morning an Intro to DSLR Photography begins. This six week class covers understanding your DSLR camera, its setting as well and composition.

Meetup Groups

On Saturday the West End Interim Library at the Watergate will host Let’s Talk Photography – Macro Photography for the Create Photographics DC group. If you want to learn more about Macro Photography this Meetup is free and open to the public. Visit the West End Interim Library’s event page for more details.

Workhouse Arts Center

On Sunday a free seminar titled “Why Photographers Should Study Light” will be given at the Volcun Muse from 12:30 to 2pm. Visit the photography class registration page for the Workhouse Arts Center to register for this event. Pre-registration is required.
